  8. B) From the hard drive’s directory:

  9. Select FILE at upper left corner. Click on OPEN then select the directory of your file. Click on the file you wanted to load. If the program is loaded correctly, the name of your file should be printed at the upper left corner of the screen.

TO PUT THE TEST IN A LOOP:

While in Wintos Window, Select FUNCTION from the pull down menu, then click on Loop. Press CTRL key to abort testing.

At Wintos Window, select letter P at the keyboard. PRN should appeared at the bottom right corner. Now if you run the test and you have any failures, the failures will be printed at the printer. Select P again will turn off this feature and the PRN at the bottom right should disappeared.

TO TURN ON LOG FILE:

At Wintos Window, select letter L at the keyboard. The Open Window will pop up. You need to select the directory you want to put your log file in (click on the selected directory twice). Now type in the name of your log file, then click on OPEN. Now LOG should appeared at the bottom right corner. If you run the test and you have any failures, the failures will be sent to your log file. Select L again will turn off this feature and the LOG at the bottom right should disappeared.

To edit the log file, make sure that log file is turned off. Now LOG should not be at the bottom right corner. Select Data from Wintos Window, then click on Log management. Select the correct name of your log file, by click on the file twice, or type in the name at File Name. Click on EDIT. Now you are in your log file, with brief editor. TO ADJUST PRINT OUT:

Your print out to the screen and to the printer should be already set up, but for some reason you would like to change the setting, you can do the following:

  1. Load your program per above instruction.
  2. Click on DATA then select DISPLAY SETTINGS (this is to set display at the screen). Now display screen should be open. Make sure ACTIVATED and PASS FAIL MODE have a mark at their boxes, if not just click on those boxes. Now you can adjust TAB STOP by typing in the tab numbers you want. NOTE: Tab stop always should have a number in its box.
  3. Now click on OK to save the changes you just made.
  4. To change printer setting (after program is loaded), you also need to select DATA then click on PRINTER SETTINGS. Printer set up page should now be open, if and only if the mark for PASS AND FAIL MODE is not there, then select it. Now you can enter in any number for the TAB STOP to change your setting for the printer print out.
  5. Click on OK after you are done to save your setting.

NOTE: If PASS RESULTS is turned on by having a check mark next to it (in either DISPLAY or PRINTER SETTINGS) then all measurements (Passing & failing data) will be displayed on the printer or display when you run the test. Usually this feature should not be on.
